About Jaslene

Hello! I am a Special Education Teacher with 12 years experience with emphasis in Mathematics. I have taught Pre-Algebra and Algebra for the majority of my teaching career. I specialize in working with students with IEPs. I am certified to teach all grades (K-12th) and have added a new teaching certificate in Birth - Grade 2. I have also been providing ABA services to this population for the last 3 years. I believe every learner thrives when provided with personalized support, so I prioritize building confidence over simple memorization. By utilizing visual aids, hands-on activities, and open dialogue, I tailor my approach to your unique needs. I break complex concepts into manageable steps and celebrate every small success to maintain momentum. Whether we meet online, at a library, or at a community center, I focus on creating a patient, supportive environment. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals!
