About Ja Shima

Nurturing young minds is my passion, and I've dedicated the last seven years to providing enriching childcare experiences. My journey began with babysitting roles, solidifying my desire to positively impact children's lives. I'm patient, creative, and approachable, with some college education and Early Child Development Coursework. I'm comfortable caring for one child at a time, and I'm happy to follow your lead regarding household rules. I communicate with parents through written daily reports, verbal updates at pickup, and regular texts or calls. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games with children. I am also certified in First Aid Training and CPR Training. Additionally, I'm comfortable with cooking and meal preparation. I speak both English and Spanish. I look forward to the opportunity to bring my experience and enthusiasm to your family.
