About Jar

hi! I am queer and trans/nonbinary. I use they/them, or he/him pronouns I am on a journey towards self expression and self embodiment, hoping to help others do the same through art, play, and movement. I am passionate about advocating for our youth and those who are most vulnerable in society. I have 4 years of experience using the DIR/Floortime model, which supports a child's social and emotional wellbeing through play. my approach to care is based on giving others the space to feel comfortable in their own ways of existing. I allow that space for trust to be built, and move forward with intention. I believe that growth can only be cultivated with this sense of safety. I am a lifelong student, always looking to learn more with every experience. let me know if our values align!
