About Jared

I genuinely enjoy supporting children and helping families feel at ease. I have over 5 years of experience working with children ages 3 to 11, with a background in teaching, theater arts, and creative child engagement. I hold a BFA in Acting from a four-year conservatory and have experience using improv, movement, and play to support children's creativity, confidence, and emotional expression. My work has included facilitating creative activities for children in schools, shelters, and community settings. I bring a calm, patient, and attentive presence and am happy to follow your lead on household rules and communication preferences, providing updates by text, phone, or in person. I am comfortable caring for up to two children and enjoy outdoor play, physical games, arts and crafts, and imaginative activities. I can also assist with cooking, meal prep, light housekeeping, errands, and household support. I am attentive to safety and have a strong working knowledge of first aid.
