About Jaqueline

Hi! My name is Jackie, and I'm a 27-year-old teacher with a lifelong passion for working with children. I was born and raised in the Watsonville area and earned my Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies with a minor in Ethnic Studies from the University of California, Sacramento. From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. Throughout college, I worked in afterschool programs and as a caretaker, gaining hands-on experience supporting kids of all ages. After graduating, I jumped right into teaching-first as a Transitional Kindergarten teacher, then with sixth grade. Most recently, I had the incredible opportunity to teach abroad in Spain. Now that I'm home for summer break, I'm available on weekdays and looking to help a local family in need of reliable, caring childcare before the new school year begins. I'm bilingual (English & Spanish), CPR certified, and committed to creating a safe, supportive, and fun environment for children to learn and grow.
