Before relocating to California, I lived in Dallas, Texas, in 2020, where I became committed to caregiving for children and elders. I joined Care. com and spent a year caring for a wonderful 14-year-old boy with autism and a 10-month-old baby. Although it was challenging, I found it rewarding as I instinctively knew how to support these amazing children. I remained vigilant and attentive to their needs at all times. A significant part of my role was ensuring that the 14-year-old received his insulin at the scheduled times, which I approached with care and responsibility. I work as a nanny for a wonderful family, caring for their 6-month-old daughter from Monday to Thursday, 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. My responsibilities include feeding her, engaging in activities, and ensuring her safety, as well as cooking nutritious meals and keeping the home tidy.
