Hello! My name is Janya, but I go by Jai. A little about myself, I am 49, and I have two children ages 21 and 31 years old and a 4-year-old grandson. I have been living in Virginia Beach for 20 years. I love being outdoors and reading and doing arts and crafts. I was a childcare supervisor at a community center taking care of children ranging from 6 weeks-12 years of age. I taught preschool for ages 2-5 years. I also worked for a youth organization as a before and after school counselor. I have over 20 years of experience caring for children.

When we started the process of looking for a nanny, we really didn't know where to begin. We just knew we wanted someone who would treat our son like family and be an extension of us. Jai was exactly that—kind, caring, and loving. She was a joy to work with and a fantastic person for our son to be around. From the beginning, it was very clear she cared deeply about our son's well-being and wanted the absolute best for all of us. With her extensive experience in caring for children and impressive intuition when it comes to babies, we felt completely at ease leaving our son in her care and allowing her to take the lead. Jai was also incredibly helpful around the house, always taking on small tasks without being asked. Additionally, Jai was communicative and easy to collaborate with, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. She even took great care of our two dogs, ensuring they were happy and well looked after. Jai has truly set the standard for what we look for in a nanny and caregiver as an addition to our family. The only unfortunate part of our entire experience is that we couldn't convince her to move out of town with us!
