About Janya

I'd describe my personality as Empathetic, Resilient, Passionate I'd describe my personality as: Caring, patient, and outgoing. I like working with kids because I love seeing their personalities shine, watching them learn new things, and being someone they can have fun with while also feeling safe and supported. I think it's so important for kids to have positive role models and a space where they can just enjoy being kids. I'm looking for a job that I look forward to going to every day. I want to do something that I enjoy, which is making a difference in a child's life while building a great relationship with the family. I started working with kids when my younger brother was born in 2013, and that's when I realized how much I enjoyed being around children. For the past four years, I've worked professionally as a camp counselor, where I've cared for kids of different ages, led activities, handled challenges, and made sure every child felt included, safe, and had a great time.
