I have loved little ones from a very early age, and have been caring for them for many years in every capacity from sister to auntie to babysitter to mama to grandma. I have been a nanny and postpartum doula for 20 years, and a sleep coach for several years. I have an AA degree in psychology where I studied early childhood development, but years of experience with many children of all ages have taught me more about the developmental ages and stages, and the unique and specific needs in each stage, than all my classroom learning ever did. When little ones are in my care, they receive my full attention; I relate with them on their level, treating them with kindness and respect, while establishing good, firm, loving boundaries. I work together with my families to provide what children need to grow into happy, healthy big people. I live my life with integrity, and in a loving and compassionate way. To whom is may concern, I am writing to recommend Jan W for any nanny position you may have available. Jan has been an asset to our family for the past year, caring for our baby girl from the age of 7 months until she was nearly 2 years old. Not only did Jan provide exceptional care for our daughter, but her warmth, kindness, and genuine love for children was immediately evident. She diligently managed tasks such as laundry, light toy cleanup, and organizing activities both inside and outside the house. One of the qualities we appreciate most about Jan is her proactive approach to childcare.
