About Janla

My name is Janla . I am a caring and reliable senior caregiver with a strong background in healthcare and emotional support. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from City College of New York and have worked directly with older adults through my roles as a Certified Nursing Assistant and as a social work intern at DOROT. As a CNA, I assisted seniors with daily tasks such as bathing, feeding, grooming, and mobility while also monitoring their health and ensuring they felt safe and respected. At DOROT, I visited seniors in their homes to provide companionship, conduct wellness check-ins, and connect them with needed resources. I bring a calm, patient presence to my work and always strive to make seniors feel valued, comfortable, and understood. I am attentive, respectful, and sensitive to the challenges aging can bring. Whether I am supporting physical care or simply offering conversation and a kind presence, I do so with compassion and consistency.
