About Janiya

As a childcare provider, I have worked with kids for the last four years. Once I graduated I went straight into working as a teacher's aid and room lead at a daycare-- Inch By Inch. During this time I went through several courses/classes, got my CPR certificate, and have experienced various forms of working and educating children. From special needs to neurotypical, I've worked with them all and from various backgrounds. My primary age group as of late has been vast; 5-13, and up to 12 kids at a time on my own. 15 if I had a TA, and even in those cases I was the lead of the room. I love children and love giving parents a moment to live their life with the security that their child is safe and cared for. Three words I would use to describe myself: open, caring, and resourceful. Finding ways to keep children safe and entertained can sometimes be challenging, but in our ever growing world there is always a way and I aim to find it.
