About Janiya

Hi! My name is Janiya C. I'm 23 years old and a current Montessori preschool co-teacher with over 7 years of experience working with children. Caring for kids isn't just something I do-it's something I truly love. I earned my B. A. in Early Childhood Studies from Cal Poly Pomona (Spring 2024), after receiving two Associate Degrees in Early Childhood Education and Studies from Santa Monica College. I've devoted my education and career to helping children grow, learn, and thrive. Outside the classroom, I've been a nanny for a family of three, helped college students care for their little ones, and was the go-to sitter in my neighborhood. I've worked with kids of all ages and always bring calm, caring, and positive energy into every home. Whether we're doing arts and crafts, reading stories, building forts, or riding bikes, I make everyday moments fun and meaningful.
