About Janiya
Experience: 1 yr
Hello, my Name's Janiya! I look forward to the opportunity to help as many people grow and excel in their studies as possible! I'd describe my personality as perspicacious, humorous, and relaxed. I like tutoring because I enjoy helping others feel empowered in their learning process. I'm looking for a job that will give me the opportunity to help students get creative about what it means to study and learn. I started tutoring during undergrad. It started off by me just being the person in classes that had the ability to make more complex ideas more palatable. In my spare time, I like to spend time in nature, paint, and compose creative writings. (I also listen to lots and LOTS of music). One thing you should know about me is I am allergic to most forms of animal/pet fur. My skills include enforcing evaluative thought and questioning, guided independence, and differentiated teaching.
