About Janith

My name is Janith, I am 24, and I have 6 years of care giving experience. I've taken care of both the elderly and infants, both able bodied and special needs. Care giving is a passion of mine since I was a teen and I've always loved forming meaningful connections with kids and their families. From reading books, arts and crafts, and nature walks I know how to keep a child entertained and learning. I'm very compassionate and know patience, which means that I can teach discipline without ever making a child feel anxious or inferior. Forming a bond with the child is a priority of mine because it means listening to them and their interests and building trust. I'm also not afraid of a little light house keeping (pertaining to the child's needs). I have references and recommendations from past families.
