About Janie

Hi! I'm Janie, and I'm studying Elementary Education at CU Boulder. I have experience caring for children from infancy through elementary school and love creating an environment where kids feel comfortable, supported, and able to have fun! I currently work at a childcare center with children from infants through kindergarten, spending much of my time with infants and toddlers and currently leading a kindergarten after-school program. Through my program at CU, I also gain classroom experience working with second graders. I'm patient, calm, dependable, and love crafts, outdoor play, reading, games, and helping with homework. I'm CPR/First Aid certified, Early Childhood Teacher qualified, and PDIS Level 2. I'm looking primarily for consistent after-school or evening care, but I'm also open to occasional babysitting and some weekends. I'd love to get to know your family and see if we're a good fit!
