I have just retired from a 45 year career in the teaching profession. My last 8 years were at the high school level. My positions included, but were not limited to the following areas: APEX/Credit Recovery Site Coordinator and teacher, Literacy Interventionist, Site Coordinator and teacher for the after school, night and Saturday School tutorial program plus the Liaison between my high school and the college for the partnership tutorial program (Federally funded Government Program). My strengths are in reading, English, social studies/history, economics and civics. I have certifications in elementary education and high school humanities (see above). I am able to assist with earth science and biology and some other sciences and lower level math such as algebra and some geometry.

Jan has been an absolute delight for us. She's really the only caregiver we use, because our daughter loves her. She brings toys and activities, follows directions and keeps us updated all the time. We really love her, and kind of hope she doesn't get too popular and not have time for us.
