I have years of in home senior care and house managing. After working for doctors for 30 years, I made a change in my career to feed my passion of caring for seniors. I have worked with seniors of all different abilities. I have also managed households with children, providing a vast array of duties. I am a great cook, companion, multi tasker, reliable driver, handy with household repairs, care for gardens, love pets, take great care in providing loving care in whatever job setting, and am willing to do whatever it takes to bring fun, enthusiasm, laughter and joy to each work day. I am the most loyal, honest, loving, capable, caring, and enthusiastic person you will find. I have owned my own vacation rental business and manage properties for others. I can fit in with any family and deliver much greater care and support of what is expected.

Janice was a Godsend for our family. She took care of our 85 year old father and helped him live again. From fun outings, errands and appointments,  and delicious meals, she was just what our family needed.

After reading Janice's reviews I felt hopeful she'd be the right person to help me with kindness and practical things after my double mastectomy. I'm new to the app and upgraded just to reach her. In my first message I politely asked for a call because I was so exhausted from surgery this was the easiest way to explain my needs. She replied very briefly, and didn't call. I followed up again and she didn't even respond. Being treated that way at such a fragile time didn't feel good.

Janice took care of my parents for about year.  She is friendly, professional and very caring.  She went the extra mile for my folks over & over again always with a smile on her face & kindness in her actions.   She’s a great listener & does her best to make sure that she’s doing what is asked of her. 

My parents were extremely negative about the idea of getting a caregiver and I wasn't overly optimistic that anyone would really be able to come in and get anything done.  Janice proved me wrong almost instantly.  Her personality, energy, compassion and professionalism won them over immediately.  It is clear that Janice cares deeply for people in her care and she quickly became an extended member of the family.   She made herself available to help with everything:  medical appointments, shopping, cleaning, prescription administration, bathing and other hygiene.  She has vast knowledge of the healthcare industry and I was actually quite surprised that she was not a professional nurse.  She truly knew what she was doing and my parents loved her.  Both of them have accelerating dementia but even now, they ask about her and that alone speaks volumes.

Trusting someone to care for your elderly parents is an agonizing decision and finding Janice was a true god send.  The burden she lifted from my family's shoulders can never really be repaid and I can't speak highly enough.  I would recommend Janice to anyone and would make myself available as a personal reference at any time.

Janice has amazing energy, along with an amazing work ethic. She gets everything done and more within her day. She is so kind to my parents and gives them excellent care and attention. She is punctual, attentive, clean, organized and keeps my parents engaged in life! 

Janice took care of me while I was recovering from surgery. She is fantastic to work with. She got more done in 4 hours than other caregivers got done in 8 hours. I would hire her again if I needed a caregiver. 

Janice has great energy and a great sense of humor. She cared for our mom with dementia for over a year.  We are at a point where we need mom to have someone live with her full time and had to make the difficult decision to part ways.  Janice goes above and beyond for the family and person she cares for.  She is wonderful with kids and pets as well.  She bathed our moms dog consistently and always made the grand-kids feel welcome. We feel fortunate and are thankful for the love and time she gave us as we continue to embark on this journey. If you need someone who can jump in and support you and your family then this is your person.

Janice fortunately came into our lives as my Dad, Bruce, started a steady decline from Parkinson's Disease. Janice was a Godsend in her ability to not just care for our Dad, but to keep his mind engaged and active. Janice pushed him to exercise, to improve his walk, to keep active. Even when she wasn't at their house, she was thinking of new ways to help with his ostomy bag changing, his low blood pressure and more. 

Janice brings her dedication and energy to everything she does--this may not be a fit for families looking for a more low energy caregiver! In addition to the way she'd care for medical needs (including organizing medicines), she never hesitated to help in other areas--cooking, housekeeping, runs to the grocery and drug store. Whatever needed doing, Janice was ready.

Right up until our father's passing in December, Janice was the ultimate caregiver, going the extra mile. 

I'm happy for the next family who will benefit from her compassion, dedication and energy.

Janice is a very industrious worker.  She has a passion for senior care and will loving care for your senior loved ones.  She knows how to keep your house very tidy and sanitized.  She is responsible and a diligent worker. She cooks healthy dishes and will keep your pantry well stocked. If you have a senior that needs extra TLC and spirited companionship then Janice would be an ideal fit!

I would highly recommend Janice as a caregiver! My father has Parkinson's and we hired her for part time help. She went above and beyond to help my parents and had a smile the whole time. She helped with cooking, cleaning, and helping my dad with his basic needs. My parents loved her cooking! The passion and attitude she gives to the job is second to none. Unfortunately we realized we needed full time help and had to let her go.

Janice took care of my father, who is elderly and suffers from Parkinson's.  Prior to Janice coming to work with him, he mostly spent is days confined to his bed watching TV.  Prior caregivers did not put effort into getting him up and out of the house.   Janice brought immediate joy and energy into his life.  Within a week he was going for short walks, laughing and eating much better.  Janice prepared him healthy meals, spent time sitting with him and engaging his mind, made  him exercise and brought a smile to his face.  Shortly after she began coming, my dad started asking us when her next visit was going to be and he looked forward to the days she came to his house.  Our family was lucky to have her come into our lives and completely change the way my father was living.
