About Janice

I have been caring for children over 40 years, from babysitting, to working in the nursery at church, in a day care center, as well as owning my own day care when my daughter was small. I led both of my son's cub scout dens for a combination of over 5 years. I worked as a summer camp counselor for inner city youth, one of my very favorite jobs ever) and been a nanny periodically for families, as needed. My last position and the longest, has been with a family for 7 years which bittersweetly will end in the fall on when the youngest goes to full-time school. It has been such a blessing and opportunity to care for these children and their family has become like my family.
