About Janice

The joy of seeing a child's eyes light up when they learn something new is why I became a caregiver. My graduate degree has given me a strong foundation for understanding child development. I am a former teacher and taught grades 2, 4, and 5th through 8th in language arts. I'm comfortable caring for up to two to three children. My approach is patient, friendly, and nurturing. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules. I communicate with parents through written daily reports and verbal updates at pickup, always following your preferred method. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I'm eager to bring my passion for childcare to your family.
