About Jane
Experience: 5 yrs
Hi! Thank you for visiting my profile! A little about me: I've worked with kids since I was a teenager. Sporadically and full time. I've babysat for NYC families and locally in Hudson Valley. I'm comfortable with ages 0-13. The youngest baby I've looked after was 2 months. I have my own reliable car, am a non smoker. I'm comfortable with pets, cleaning/cooking, running errands. My hobbies include: hiking, Paddleboarding, gardening, camping, arts& crafts, yoga, meditation and holistic living. I've worked in variety of industries and babysitting by far is my favorite job! It doesn't actually ever feels like work, because I enjoy it so much ! I love to engage creativity and play time with the kids I babysit. But also let them explore and express themselves. My favorite aspect of babysitting is the difference I make in a parent's day by taking care of their child. I am looking forward to meeting you and your kid(s)! Have an amazing day! -references available

We hired Jane to watch our toddler for about 7 weeks over the summer and our only regret was that we hadn’t found her sooner! Jane went above and beyond our expectations in caring for our child and also keeping our house going while we were working. We came to trust her very quickly, and also appreciated that she never hesitated to ask questions when needed. She was always communicative, on time, and just an overall wonderful person to be around. I highly recommend Jane!
