About Janet

All my life I have been surrounded by children. Growing up with my mom, a child care provider has helped me learn how to take care of a child, but how to help them grow. I am certified in programs such as Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS), Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), and First Aid/CPR. All of which are approved by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). I also have the Childhood Development Associate (CDA) and Gateways for opportunity credential level 2. I think it is highly important to be knowledgeable of the best ways to keep your child safe. I love to travel to different countries. I am fluent in Spanish and Italian. I have a passion for languages and learning about new cultures. I am currently pursuing my MBA/Registered Dietitian degree. Additionally, I have experience with kids between the ages of 2-8 and I have babysat for more than 7 years. I would not only love to take care of your child, but I would like to make them feel safe and loved.
