About Janet

As a passionate caregiver with a background in occupational therapy, I bring over 5 years of experience in pediatric settings. I create a nurturing environment by meeting each child at their developmental level. Creative, nurturing, and self aware. I like working with kids because they are invigorating. Their curiosity and wonder draws me in. I'm looking for a job is a meaningful connection with the children and parents, to support their growth. I started working with kids when I assisted in leading an after school program roughly 10 years ago. In my spare time, I like to be physically active, play with my daughter or arts and crafts. One thing you should know about me is that I truly believe every child has a uniqueness, I honor it by being present, patient, and always attuned to their needs. My first skill includes an Occupational therapy lens, Second, a child centered approach with a focus on positive communication. Lastly, my ability to meet the child where they are.
