I've been pet sitting mostly for friends within our development. This includes cats and a few dogs; the breed of dog is German Shepherd, a poodle mix and a flat coat retriever. I have been going to the person's home to care for their pets and prefer to travel to your house on a daily basis, rather than overnight stays. I had cats of my own for almost 20 years. I generally stay with the animal(s) for several hours so they're not completely alone in the home and I like to play with them, brush, etc. I like neatness and bring my own items (snacks, water, reading material, garbage bags, etc.) and don't leave messes. I take pride in watching someone else home/pets and give their pet(s) the best care I possibly can. I can be trusted with your pet(s) and home 100% and take pride in this, which probably stems from the fact I've been an executive assistant most of my working career (now retired). A lot of that work carries over into my personal life regarding integrity, honesty, organization and dependability.

I have been fortunate to have known Janet for over five years and lucky to count her as a friend. She is a warm, caring, compassionate and lovely person. She is very easy to talk to and enjoys talking with people or all ages When I go on vacation I ask her to watch my two cats for me. I have never had someone take such wonderful care of my pets. She goes over and above what you would expect from a pet sitter. She cares about their health and has notified me when their diet seemed off. My cats love when she comes to take care of them. She does not just come in clean their boxes, feed them and leave. She stays and play and, brushes them, and they get to enjoy treats. I am fortunate to have been able to have her both as a friend and pet sitter. If she things that need attention she will let me know. I would get almost daily updates, which is very thoughtful and gives me peace of mind. As a child care provided, care giver, running errands or if someone would like to have her just check in on family and loved ones, she would be excellent. She has a very soothing nature and is very compassionate and caring. lovely lady. Anyone that is lucky enough to be able to avail themselves of her services will be extremely happy. Doreen
