About Janet

Caring for children and supporting their growth is truly my passion. I have over 5 years of hands-on experience caring for children ages 1-10, along with classroom experience as a Substitute Teacher. I hold an Associate degree in Elementary-Secondary Education from Hudson County Community College and am currently pursuing dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Hospitality Administration and Elementary Education, with a minor in International Business, at Montclair State University. I am patient, calm, and creative, and I enjoy engaging children through outdoor play, board games, crafts, and educational activities that encourage learning and curiosity. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and value open communication with families, always providing verbal updates at pickup. I am happy to follow household routines and rules, and can assist with light housekeeping and creative activities. I would love the opportunity to bring my nurturing energy and love for learning to your family.
