I enjoy working with children and I have a lot of experience working with children in a variety of settings. My experience includes being a sitter/nanny as well as, a classroom teacher. Currently I am a substitute teacher in Minneapolis and will finish for the year on June 11. I have experience working with children with special needs and was a respite care provider for families with special needs children in Boston. I enjoy reading to children, playing games, cooking (I especially like to bake and have won 4th place twice at the Minnesota State Fair!), being outside with nature, and taking children on outings. I can also offer tutoring services. Other experience include being a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Philippines and South Africa; I don't have a car but have a license. I am an expert at getting around on public transportation! I am known for my promptness and reliability! I also enjoy bike riding and have my own bike. I promise your kids will have a fun summer!!!

Janet has a special way with children and pets. They always feel comfortable and at ease with her. She is dependable, responsible and a lot of fun. She house sat for me for weeks at a time for my dogs, cats, plants, etc. and everything was ship shape upon our return. She is our favorite house sitter but hard to get. She is always busy!
