I'm a mom of a 24-year-old boy and 16-year-old girl. I've also nannied on and off in the last 4 years for 2 boys, now aged 2. 5 and 5. Over the years I've gained lots of perspective on caring for, raising, and teaching children. I'm a certified Florida teacher so I'd be happy to help kids with schoolwork. I'm in school for my master's in Social Work, so I will be transitioning into being a therapist after I graduate. Currently I have a lot of flexibility. In January, I'll be starting an internship 2 days a week so I'd be available for 3 days a week and a few nights and weekends. I love kids and think that a calm, mindful caregiver is the best teacher. I also think the importance of letting children talk to you is paramount in their communication skills, and thus independence and success!
