Janet helped us with our young labrador retriever puppy during a challenging phase of early puppyhood. She put us at ease when we had to find a sitter to stay in our home and take care of our young pup for 5 days and 4 nights. From our first video interview, it was clear that Janet took the job seriously and wanted to be well-prepared. She was willing to do a little homework to get ready for handling a puppy of a young age (only about 12 weeks old at the time). She asked a lot of questions in our interview. I think she had more questions for us than we had for her! Since we had an early morning departure planned, we arranged an orientation visit with Janet a few days in advance, so she could meet our pup and get familiar with the peculiarities of our home. Even in advance of that, Janet was happy to watch a 10-minute YouTube video on puppy training (addressing nipping and biting) that we shared so that she could be prepared to handle this young puppy behavior we were dealing with. We also made sure to email her our puppy and home care guidance in advance, with a printout left on our kitchen counter for reference. When our departure day arrived, Janet was reliable and arrived on time. During our trip, Janet texted with a few questions and updates on our pup, which we appreciated. When we returned, all was as we left it at our home plus our pup was as happy and healthy as ever. If you want a trustworthy pet sitter who you can count on to take good care of your furry family members (as well as your home), we highly recommend Janet!
