I've had hospice patients and ones that I worked for for years. I've done just about everything. Dishes, laundry, changing diapers, lift machines, cooking, cleaning, feeding, to holding their hands while they pass away. I am older now and can't lift like I could before but, I can still be a companion and do dishes and light housekeeping. Also I can run errands and get groceries, take to doctor's appointments and things like that. I retired but, as you know that doesn't pay too well these days.
