Over the last 12 years, I have worked mostly as a live-in nanny with career moms in need of child care and taken care of children from birth to 12 years of age. I have always sought positions where transportation is not required because I do not own a car. I am a retired registered nurse and midwife and worked professionally in my country of origin-Nigeria. My duties include child meal preparation, laundry and light housekeeping. I love and I am passionate about children. I have three grown girls who are all married and have children of their own. Janet was wonderful with our 3 month old. She was very hands on and I appreciate how much she cared. Janet was very knowledgeable and often shared good insight/tips for our little one. As a first time mom, this is something I really appreciated. Our baby always seemed happy when I picked him up and she was very communicative of his schedule (feedings and naps). We moved away from the area or I would have loved to keep working with her!
