I ran my own licensed in home daycare for over 30 years. I have worked with many professionals over the years including doctors and surgeons and have the communications skills needed to work with families long term. We had Jane with us when our baby was 6 weeks to 4 months old. She was great with her! Attentive, timely, knowledgeable, encouraged milestones/development, etc. She was always a bit early and communicated well. I felt comfortable being able to ask her for last minute schedule changes (I'm a current medical student and life is crazy), and she respected that we needed advance notice of any thing which was a huge relief. We always planned to move to daycare because of our long work hours, and that's why it ended. But if you're looking for great reliable infant care, Jane is your person! 

We had a phone call that was great & agreed to meet for an interview at our home. I said that I’d text my address the morning of our interview & she insisted it sooner to see the drive but we had mentioned the part of town we lived in the call, she said that was fine prior.
I stated I’d like to wait until I receive the background check I requested before sharing my address but did give cross streets. She denied my background check request & cancelled the day before the interview. Timing felt odd

I was initially excited to connect with Jane as her stated experience is extensive. We had an initial phone conversation and based on that I was interested in meeting her. However, when we arranged a time and indicated that I wanted to meet in a public setting, she said she wanted to see our home. I explained that we are meeting candidates in a public setting before allowing anyone in our home. She immediately said we aren't on the same page. I absolutely understand that a nanny would want to see someone's home before committing to a job, however her attitude and lack of respect for our household safety was extremely concerning to me. I would never hire her.

Jane was our son’s nanny from 2.5-10 months, and she was an absolute godsend. As first-time parents, we were nervous about pretty much everything, but meeting Jane and learning of her passion for caring for infants put our minds immediately at ease. She bonded with our son right away and remained committed to his growth and development at every stage. She was diligent, professional, and reliable in every sense. We are so grateful for all she did for our son and our family.

Jane is a dependable, nurturing and kind nanny. She cared for our twin boys from age 3 months- 20 months and exceeded our expectations as first time parents. She always arrived early, rarely missed work unless for medical issues and was accommodating to our schedule when changes were needed. Her background in child care is extensive and our kids benefited greatly from her. She would always have age appropriate toys and activities for them to work on, and for premature babies this was so helpful. If you have the fortune of hiring Jane to care for your infant/toddler(s) you will not be disappointed, she is wonderful!

I was incredibly disappointed that we scheduled a date and time to meet Jane for a nanny share opportunity and she never showed up. When I messaged her to ask if she was still coming she just said it was too far. I found this to be incredibly unprofessional and unfortunate as her other reviews are so positive. The least she could have done was let us know in advance.

Jane was a wonderful nanny to our twins (B/G). She was with them the age of 4 months to 19 months and they thrived under her care. She had little lessons with them each day on colors, animals, shapes, etc. She would read, color, paint, scissors, and all kinds of crafts with them. She also spent lots of time outside with them playing in our yard. She loves to buy toys and other educational material to supplement our supplies which is helpful and so appreciated by two busy parents. She was on time, dependable, contentious, loving, caring and understanding....really everything you could want in a nanny and more. Our family will miss her dearly!

Jane is an excellent nanny. She cared for our infant girls for the past 16 months. The care she provided was attentive and caring and the girls looked forward to her arrival every morning. They continually met or exceeded their development goals and language skills surprising us and their pediatrician after every check-in. Her knowledge, helpful advice, and flexibility were exactly what we as first-time parents needed. She kept detailed notes of daily activities and kept the house in order by doing dishes, laundry and organizing the girl's toys and clothing. We wish her all the best with her next family.

She is a wonderful nanny.  She has been caring for our twin infant girls for over a year (from 4 months old) and has developed a wonderful relationship with them.  She is focused on their health and development and they love her.  When she is with the girls, she gives them all of her attention and helps them develop gross and fine motor skills, language skills, and social skills (potty training at 12 months old!)  She is very easy to work with and always offers to do more (laundry). 
She is always early, very reliable, accommodating, and flexible.  She keeps a detailed "nanny log" to record what the girls do during the day and always conveys her concerns (constipation, colds, head bumps, etc) with us and calls when needed.  She is always very polite and respectful and truly a pleasure to have at home.
We are very sad to be moving and wish her all the best with her next family!

Jane was amazing. We took our son out of a daycare that was less than adequate when caring for our child. Our son was 6 months when Jane started working for us and he hadn't met some of his milestones.  Jane diligently worked with us to make sure that he caught up and he has now surpassed our expectations.  You can tell that she genuinely cares for the children that she keeps and is passionate about seeing successful growth. She is punctual, flexible, caring, dependable, and knowledgeable.  Her years of experience proved to be invaluable when caring for our son.  As first time parents, Jane's experience, caring nature, and knowledge have made parenting much easier for us.  She equipped us with knowledge so that we could know what to expect and and for the unexpected instances that occurred, she was always one step ahead and able to ease our worries.

Jane is an excellent nanny. She cared for our 3 month old daughter full time when we needed someone short-term for my first two months back at work. She is extremely punctual (always early, in fact) and is very available and flexible with her hours. She took great interest and care to make sure that our daughter was doing everything necessary in order to meet her developmental milestones on time and actually ahead of schedule for the most part! She was respectful of what we felt was important for our daughter but also willing to gently offer advice based on her extensive experience in caring for infants and other young children. Jane helped out with laundry, dishes, and cleaning up around the house, even when not specifically asked to do so. She took detailed notes each day so that we would know exactly how things had gone and what had been done each day. Most importantly, she was always kind, loving, and patient with our daughter. Our daughter seemed to really enjoy spending time with Jane and learning from her.
