About Janessa
Experience: 9 yrs
Hi parents! My name is Janessa and I have just moved back to Philadelphia after some time on the west coast! I am ready to start the search to become apart of a new amazing family! Yay! A little about me, I have extensive childcare experience. I went to school for early childhood development. However, teacher life wasn't for me. I love long walks, library trips, arts and crafts, and any active activity! If you feel like I would be a good fit for you and your family, please feel free to reach out to chat more about myself, my experience, and of course, your kiddo(s)!! I'd describe my personality as bubbly, safe, and energetic! I like working with kids because it keeps me young and gives me a sense of meaning!

Janessa was absolutely amazing. She cared for our son for about a year, starting when he was one year old, and quickly became an integral part of our family. She’s kind, thoughtful, loving, and took the time to truly understand our needs. Not only did she care for our son with great attention and tenderness, but she also thoughtfully incorporated play-based learning into their daily activities. She prioritized time outdoors, navigated sleep training and regressions with confidence, and brought a calm, professional presence to each day. Janessa was always open to feedback—though we rarely had any, as she was such a natural fit. Anyone who has the opportunity to work with her is incredibly lucky. She’s a real gift.
