About Jane

Experienced with infants, toddlers, elementary, and middle-school-aged children. I bring 10+ years of professional childcare experience and long-term relationships with Bay Area families. I studied Early Childhood Education at Simmons College, spent two years with Jumpstart AmeriCorps, and completed Oakland CORE emergency preparedness training. I'm also Red Cross CPR/AED certified. MY STYLE I'm a hands-on caregiver influenced by Montessori and Waldorf philosophies. Think more exploring fractals in pine cones, playground adventures, books, and imaginative play, and less screen time. I love helping kids explore, create, move, and develop independence while knowing a calm, attentive adult is right there. I'm comfortable taking the lead while respecting your family's routines and parenting style. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy kids and want our time together to be safe, playful, and fun. Off duty, you'll find me at hot yoga, baking, or indulging my lifelong love of Sailor Moon.
