I have accumulated over 27 years of experience in raising two wonderful children, working as a live-in nanny (in London) and later as a high school teacher. I worked as a mental health counselor in Boston for 7 years- primarily with children and adolescents. Once my younger daughter completed college there 9 years ago , I returned to Florida. In addition to working there as a mental health counselor I worked as a Behavioral Support Technician in a residential setting for young adults living with Autism. I gained invaluable experience in this position and continue with education in this area. My passions embrace helping with the education of young people whose particular mental/ emotional health and/or cognitive challenges may prevent them from mainstream learning. My particular focus is working with children/ adolescents/ young adults on ASD and adolescents with ADHD.
