About Janelle

Hello! My name is Janelle and I am 27 years-old. My primary occupation is an actor/performing artist here in Chicago, but I have spent the pandemic babysitting for multiple families from infants to teens. Jobs include everything from playtime outdoors and indoors, crafts, help with online learning, meal prep, light housework, bedtime routines, and even pet care. I grew up in a big family taking care of my younger sister and my many cousins. In addition to my babysitting experience, I have taught dance, voice, piano, and theatre over the last 10 years, so I've been working with youth ages 3-14 for some time. I love sitting because children are simply the best! They remind me to embrace my own inner child. They give me a great sense of purpose.
