I communicate with families using written daily reports, regular text or phone call updates, and by following their preferred method. Earning trust is important to me when building a connection with a care recipient. I have experience adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, redirecting attention when needed, and handling confusion, agitation, or behavioral changes. I have one year of experience, some college education, and speak English and Spanish. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and hold current CPR and First Aid certifications.
