I always love taking care of babies and toddlers. I have always been around my mom who babysat kids for almost 9 years. It's safe to say I've learned a lot. I am good about preparing food and I can make bottles. Also, if you have a set schedule I am good about staying on schedule as far as naps and eating times. One interesting thing about me is that I have deaf parents and sign language was my first language. When taking care of kids, especially kids who aren't speaking, ASL really comes in handy. I always teach kids the basic signs like more, eat, sleep, please, water, milk, etc. This is good for them to grasp communication skills. One of my favorite things to do with kids especially during the holidays are the kids handprint or footprint paintings. But this will only be if you allow paint in the house.
