About Janel

Hi! I'm Janel, a certified Autism teacher who loves helping families create calm, structured routines that help children feel safe, confident, and ready to learn. I have experience in both teaching and behavior therapy, and I specialize in working with children with autism and other developmental needs. My focus is helping children build self-regulation skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and succeed through individualized learning plans and supportive routines. I've worked with children, teens, and adults with a wide range of needs-from autism and severe disabilities to youth experiencing mental health crises. I hold Florida certifications in General Education (K-6), ESE (K-12), Autism, and ESOL. My goal is always to meet each child where they are and help them grow at their own pace while supporting families along the way.
