My name is Janelaze but you can call me Munchie. I am 47 years old and live in Falls Church VA. I have been a care provider for 20 years. It is my passion. Janelaze ("Munchie") provided excellent care to my mother-in-law, who has moderate dementia, at our home for two months this year. As I work from home, I was able to observe much of their interaction, and Munchie was unwaveringly kind and patient. She is skilled and comfortable with working with individuals with dementia. She was very proactive about encouraging my mother-in-law to do the exercises recommended by the physical therapist and keeping her active moving around the house and going for walks in the neighborhood. Munchie engaged her in conversations and games, bringing a very nice and upbeat energy to each day together. We found her to be 100% reliable, prompt, and an excellent communicator. We would have continued the arrangement, but we are transitioning my MIL to a memory care home. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Janelaze. My mother had Parkinson's and, eventually dementia. Janelaze did a wonderful job caring for her. Quickly earned her trust. Was very communicative with her, gentle, and observant of her needs when my mother was unable to communicate them. Janelaze took initiative. When she saw my mother needed something to improve her care, she offered ideas for what could be done to help. 

She cared for my 90 year old mother and was very good. She was reliable and caring with my mom. My mom enjoyed her company. 

My wife had advanced Parkinsons, which made it difficult for her to walk or even feed herself.  She typically had trouble getting along with her caregivers until I hired Janelaze. They soon adored each other. I will forever be grateful to Janelaze (Munchi) for the devotion and kindness she gave my wife.

Very patient and caring both for my mother, but helped support my father as well. Gentle, experienced, and kind. 

She is very personable and took wonderful care of my mother. She was always happy and helpful and often sent videos of her and my mom dancing or walking. She was great.

Janelaze began to work with my  husband in Jan. 2019, and from the start has been extraordinary.  In working with my husband, she was  inevitably positive, cheerful, upbeat  and fully focused, establishing an admirable rapport both with  him and myself.  I am most gratefully to her and would recommend her without reservation and with  full confidence and great  personal enthusiasm.

She is a warm, caring and giving person.  She took wonderful care of my father and our whole family during a difficult time.  I cannot recommend her highly enough!
