I am an incoming medical student at UCSD SOM and have been tutoring and working in educational settings since I was a teenager, working with children of all age ranges. I started out tutoring my peers in high school, and also assisted teachers with elementary school-age children for after-school and summer programs. In college, I tutored student-athletes, and for three years, I worked in an early childhood education program dedicated to improving literacy among the preschoolers I worked with. I graduated from UCLA with a degree in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology, so I am well equipped to tutor STEM classes, but have experience and am comfortable in other subjects as well.
