About Jane

I have been teaching and working with children most of my life. For the past six years, I have had the opportunity to work as a nanny for families with newborns to school-aged children. I enjoy every stage of child development and seek to foster a love for learning via books, activities, crafts, physical exercise, music, nature walks, trips, etc. all while providing a safe environment. I have raised and homeschooled three children of my own, K-12, all college graduates. I have taught in other capacities and have tutored first and fourth grade students. I enjoy children and strive to enable them to prosper mentally, academically, and socially that they may achieve their greatest potential. I am energetic, creative, and love the outdoors. I also aspire to help build character in children emphasizing respect and kindness.
