About Jana

Hi! I'm Jana, and I have spent pretty much my entire adolescent and adult professional life working with children! My first job at 15 was as a math/reading tutor and I am currently an RN with several years of experience working with newborns all the way up to teenagers. I spent two years as a Postpartum/nursery nurse learning how to care for the freshest babies and their wonderful moms and most recently, I've been doing pediatric nursing with medically complex kids. Now, I'm a grad student at Columbia University and I'm looking for occasional babysitting gigs for wonderful, fun loving families. If you need date night coverage, weekend outings or even weekday breaks, I'm excited to bring some fun energy into your house while you can rest assured that your kids are in safe (CPR-BLS certified) hands! In my spare time, I like to knit, read, take my dog for walks and cook!
