I ran a Licensed daycare/ pre-school for many years and am now enjoying nannying! I love kids!
I'm available Part-Time, 18-20 hours per week.

Jana responded quickly for a last minute need and was very accommodating with a pre-sitting interview at our house. The kids had fun and were actually sleep when we got home (which never happens, so we know that they felt that they were in good hands)!

Jana is a great nanny. She has watched my two year old and 5 months for about 4 months. She is super hands on, dependable and friendly. My two year old has lots of fun with her! They do arts and crafts, water play, read books, go on walks, etc. She has been a childcare provider for over 20 years and she is great with kids and babies. She is very trustworthy and I like her attention to detail. I definitely recommend!

I'm a stay at home mom but needed to hire a nanny for the week because I was participating in a payed special event. Emailed with several nannies and met a few in person, including Jana. We decided to hire her. The day before she was set to work she canceled. Leaving me in a huge bind, scrambling for other child care and causing me to cancel some of the times I could have worked, costing me hundreds of dollars. Extremely unprofessional and flaky, definitely would not hire again.

We loved our Nay Nay! We hired Jana as a nanny for our infant daughter when I had to return to work from maternity leave. She cared for our daughter 5 days a week and helped with light housekeeping (dishes and laundry). She is kind, dependable and has a wealth of knowledge in regards to child development and care. She was a part of our family for 6 months until we decided to move out of San Diego to be closer to our parents. I highly recommend Jana for any childcare/nanny position!

Jana was very caring for our daughter, eager to help around the house, easy going, and dependable.  She took initiative playing with our 6 month old, and they got along great.  We only had a short term, temporary need but we would hire her back!



Jana is so attentive to my child's needs and has been a huge help to my family. She not only cares for my little one with the care that she would give her own child, but she incorporates a very positive environment that encourages a high level of development for growth in both child and mommy. :)

We feel blessed to have found Jana.  It was a rough family time with us needing care for our first and only grandchild.  She is trustworthy, loving, understanding and so much more.   We were able to go to work and know R. was getting the best care and Jana would update us throughout the day especially in the beginning which really helped me.  Don't hesitate or you will miss out on a wonderful nanny and person.  Thank you Jana we are forever grateful.

Needed someone to watch our first grandchild.  We never needed childcare for our son.  So this was a new challenge, we were nervous but thankfully we found Jeanae.  With years of experience and the nature touch, we are comfortable and R. is happy.  Jeanae is flexible, understood our our complex situation and she worked with us on the schedule.  R. is getting quality care where he is also developing  (for example his motor skills).

Jana' has been a great addition to our family. She currently takes care of our 4 month old 3 days/week. Our daughter will be starting daycare in a couple weeks, and under different circumstances, we would keep Jana' for regular care. If you are looking for a nanny who is easy to talk to, great with kids, and very knowledgeable, contact Jana for your childcare needs! We will definitely keep her as our #1 go-to babysitter!

My son and i both loved Jana! She was on time, professional, fun, trustworthy and super flexible with her availability! My son keeps asking me when I'm going again just so she can come over! We look forward to having her come over again soon!

I politely replied to her email stating she was not a good fit for our financial situation and the number of hours required (below her needs).  She continued to correspond with me despite my repeating she was not the right fit.  Her email communication was condescending and presumptuous, stating I would not be able to find a caregiver to fit my needs for what I could afford.  She also self-righteously stated she was "worth way more than that" and that I should look for someone with "little experience".  Even if I could afford her I would never hire someone with that attitude towards myself and my children.  I would like to mention I have never met her in person and she never worked for our family.  This is solely based on an email exchange.

Jana is full of life and a wealth of knowledge when it comes to children.  My son was drawn to her the m omens she came to the door.  You can't beat 31 years of experience. 

Jana is great.  She has been caring for my baby for the past several weeks.
She is very reliable, professional, and the baby just loves her.   
Her experience caring for children gives me the confidence to know my baby is getting great care.

Jana takes care of my 4 month old regularly before and after daycare.  She is VERY reliable which is important when I have to fly out of town for the day.  She is also incredibly responsive and lets me know how things are going by sending me pictures and giving me updates.  It is always hard to leave my little one, but Jana puts me at ease by keeping me posted.  I would highly recommend Jana for anyone needing a safe and reliable sitter.

Janá watched my sick 3 year old son and was great! You could tell she's very comfortable around children. She kept in touch via text and FaceTime during the day. When I got home, my son was happy and sitting with Janá. My shy kid even gave her a hug goodbye. Will be hiring her again when I need someone!

I received an email from Jana responding to a job that I posted.  I responded thanking her for her interest, but she was not the right fit for the job.  Her response was the following: "I responded to someone who was interested in a job that I posted.  I used the "no thanks" button that leaves them a message thanking them but that they are not right for the job.  
She responded with this: "That was rude! If I'm NOT right with 30 years of experiences, who is?  Good luck with the 19 year old who never shows up!"  I clearly made the right choice.

Jana was a perfect choice for our family. She was great about staying in communication with us during the process of hiring her and during the time that she was watching our son. This was the first time that I left my son with a sitter so I was a little nervous about leaving him. Jana put me at ease, she kept me updated throughout the day via text, and even sent me pictures of my little boy having fun. It was a comfort to know that he was in such great hands. Jana will be the first person I contact when we need a sitter again.

Jana took great care of my daughter from the time she had just turned 1 year old up until she was 4-1/2 years old.  My daughter is now 7 and still goes to visit with and have sleepovers with friends at Jana's home.  If you want your child to have a family-like caregiver instead of just a babysitter to "watch" you child, I recommend Jana. :-)
