About Janae

Hi there, I'm Janae! I recently graduated with my Bachelor's in Psychology from University of Washington this past winter, and I would love to help take care of children ages 2 years and up because I have little experience with very young kids, though I am very willing and adaptable! I enjoy reading, art, and playing games with kids, especially puzzles and going outdoors. I'm kind, fun, reliable, and I have strong experience in leadership. In my spare time, I love to go on hikes, read, and spend time with family, I also love movies, making jewelry, and playing video games and board games with friends. I plan to pursue a Master's in Mental Health Counseling, and I currently volunteer as a Crisis Counselor with Crisis Text Line. I like working with kids because they have such light. I really love to be helpful, and as someone who has studied Psychology and hopes to become a Mental Health Counselor, I truly value work that revolves around care and connection.
