About Janae

I'm an enthusiastic childcare provider with a passion for nurturing children's growth and development. I was a PreK 4 co-teacher and was excited to move to 2nd Grade. However, I've relocated to Abilene due to my husband's job. My previous nannying/babysitting roles have been incredibly rewarding. I worked with my most recent nanny family for three years and still maintain a great relationship with them. I believe in open communication with parents and follow their preferred method. My approach to enforcing household rules is guided by the parents' lead, ensuring consistency for the children. I love engaging children in various activities, from outdoor sports and reading to puzzles. I also enjoy incorporating educational games that promote learning. My hobbies a include: baking, cooking, reading, music and painting. With 8 years of experience and a Bachelor's in English from Texas Tech, I'm confident in my ability to care for children of different ages, from infants to preteens.
