About Jamiyla

I've always loved children even when I was still a child myself. After school when I was in 5th grade, I used to watch my principal's son. I first started to get paid for babysitting, is when I was 13. I then started spending my summers and even my winter breaks watching over a 6-year-old girl while her mother was away at work. Even today I still watch over the same girl, now that she's 12, she always asks her mother if I could baby sit her. She calls me excited ready for me to come over and spend time with her. When I was 14, a family friend had a baby. When the mother was ready to go back to work, I was one of her choices to watch over 4 month year old Leah. At first I was scared, I had never watched over a baby before. After sometime, I got the hang out of it and now babies are my all time favorite. Leah is now 9, and the highlight of my experience is seeing her face glow when she sees me. I love my job and absolutely love kids.
