My teaching philosophy is that learning should be fun. I am passionate about discovering how children learn best so that they love to learn. I am a New York State certified teacher with degrees in elementary general education, special education, and English as a New Language. I currently teach with the NYC Department of Education, and my classroom and tutoring experience allows me to tailor lessons to a students' specific needs and goals. In addition, I am comfortable and experienced in modifying any academic content for struggling students and students with disabilities.
