About Jamie

I enjoy spending time with children: playing, teaching, and doing activities together. I got my first babysitting job in middle school and started teaching preschool dance in high school. I have an elementary education degree from Michigan State and taught 4th and 5th grade for 8 years. At the end of the 2020 school year, I decided to shift my career to teaching dance and yoga. I have another exciting life change ahead of me and I'm looking for a little extra work this summer. I'm taking this year off as a dance instructor because I'll be traveling to Costa Rica this fall to adopt a sibling group of 3. I teach yoga on weekday mornings, so I am available afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
