About Jamie

Hello! I'm Jamie, a certified English Language Arts teacher with experience working with students in grades 7-12. As an Academic Intervention Services (AIS) teacher, I provide personalized reading and writing instruction to students with a wide range of abilities, learning styles, and academic needs. I have worked with struggling readers, advanced learners, English Language Learners (ENL), and students who benefit from additional support. I believe every student can succeed with individualized instruction that builds confidence and meets them where they are. I specialize in reading comprehension, literary analysis, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and study skills. Whether your child needs extra support, wants to improve grades, or is ready for a greater challenge, I strive to create a positive, engaging learning environment where students can grow and succeed.
