I have been working with people with disabilities since I was a little girl. My neighbor who I loved growing up had down syndrome. When I was in middle school, I assisted coaching special Olympics. In high school, I was an in home aide for a young man with autism. I've been a special ed teacher since 2006 and I ran an Easter Seals camp for people (kinder to adults) with severe disabilities. I love this field and it is what I'm passionate about.
