I have over 20 years experience (started 2003)with one on one care. I have worked in long term skilled and personal/assisted facilities. However, my heart is in private duty care. I'm outgoing and compassionate. I take great pride in strong work ethic. I have experience with a wide range of illnesses and/or disabilities. I have great respect and advocacy of helping maintain a loved one's right to remain at home as long as he/she is medically able. I have experience with both hospice and non-hospice patients. Some examples of skills are Foley catheter care, hoyer lift experience, transferring with assist, able to complete all ADL's such as ambulation, bathing, feeding, toileting and housekeeping, ROM exercises, able to complete all vitals on patient, experience with Dementia/Alzheimer patients including care and safety. I enjoy preparing meals and if the loved one is able, I'll enjoy cooking with them. Most important is being a friend and companion. I have excellent references.

Jamie cared for our Mom for 18 months. We love her - and could NOT have given my Mom better care if we had done it ourselves. Jamie became one of our family. She is considerate, kind, generous and would do anything to make my Mom comfortable. Jamie stayed with my Mom for the last 72 hrs of her life - I am confident not many caregivers would have done the same. You could not ask for a better caregiver for your loved one.
